FIBEIRA SGPS, S.A. is a holding company whose companies have operated in the areas of property development, the hotel industry, mass media and services, a wide range of businesses in different sectors of activity.
Founded in 1984 with the creation of FIBEIRA, it has always been marked by its ability to expand and respond effectively to challenges to excellence, which has allowed the broadening of its interests into new businesses and a presence today in markets such as the hotel industry.
Among the portfolio of products managed by the Group, the following stand out for their uniqueness:
Edifício Atrium Saldanha - a building integrating commerce, offices and car parking, inaugurated in 1998, whose property and management are secured by the Group.
Hotel Villa Rica - 4-star hotel complex inaugurated in 2002, whose property and management were held by an equity investee of the Group until Jan 2009.
Villa Restelo - a luxury apartment complex located in the district of Restelo, in Lisbon. Comprised of 160 flats, it was completed and fully commercialised in 2002.
Berna 56 - is a new building located right in the heart of Lisbon, with a unique quality, magnificent views over Monsanto hills, Praça de Espanha and the Gardens of Gulbenkian Foundation.
Located in one of the best places of Lisbon, Avenidas Novas, the proximity to entertainment and leisure facilities, commerce, culture and recreation, makes Berna 56 ideal for quality living.
Berna 56 is a project by renowned Spanish Architect Ricardo Bofill. The building is completed (AUG09) and sales are now Open.
Based on the experience gained in the hotel industry, the Group is preparing for a new phase, with ongoing integrated investments in the island of Madeira - Madeira Palace - Hotel, Residences and Spa, as well as unique hotel projects in the planning phase, such as the Conference Centre Hotel in Lisbon, the Palácio dos Condes da Ribeira Grande, in Junqueira, Lisbon and the Palácio do Correio Mor, in Loures.
