Atrium Saldanha History
Inaugurated on 03 March 1998, Atrium Saldanha harmoniously combines the classic lines and the new materials and technologies that characterise the distinctive mark of Architect Ricardo Bofill. Atrium Saldanha was conceived to leave an indelible mark on the city of Lisbon.
The offices, designed in accordance with the highest quality standards, are located on the top nine floors of the building, with areas from 50 m2 up to 3,700 m2, and access through 4 independent lifts.
The shopping gallery, located on the first three floors, is comprised of 78 stores and has a panoramic internal lift.
Located in the Praça Duque de Saldanha, this unique building has always been a symbol of the rejuvenation of the capital Lisbon, and has already been awarded important prizes, among them the “Prize for Excellence in Integrated Architectural Design and Interior Design”, the prize for “The Best Enterprise of the Year – 1997”, the “Ambelis Prize 1997”, the “Secil Prize for Civil Engineering 1999” and the “Valmor and Municipal Prize for Architecture 2001”.
